Steeped in history

Arthur Strachan Real Estate was established in approximately 1960 by Arthur Strachan himself, who was a well known identity of Lae and running a customs clearance agency, and saw the need for a real estate agency.

In 1976 the business was taken over by Bruce & Faye Duffield, along with two of their long-serving Papua New Guinean staff members and shareholders in the business, Oswald Duncan, the Property Manager and Nanice Bob, the Chief Accounts Clerk.

Arthur Strachan has continued to offer services under the current management of Bruce and Faye's son, Paul Duffield, and in the volatile market of the

real estate industry in PNG, the business has maintained excellent, reliable staff who give a reliable and professional service to all clients, an essence passed down from it's inception.
